Professionalism Through Knowledge

Professional Training Courses leading to qualifications

With a membership base of over 600 members together with national and regional committees comprised of senior licensing professionals, NALEO brings together years of unrivalled experience of licensing issues, changing legislation and the local and national government licensing landscape.

As such, we are ideally placed to identify, develop and deliver training initiatives tailored to those working in licensing. For those members whose professions require them to gain Continuing Professional Development points our Training Courses and events attract CPD points issued in conjunction with the Solicitors Regulation Authority [SRA] under code DYA/NALE

As our Training courses are developed they are progressed and handcrafted towards the construction and subsequent attainment of externally accredited Btec Licensing qualifications.

All of our original qualifications were Edexcel (Pearson) accredited and in the main facilitated through residential courses.

Due to the major financial problems experienced by Councils nationwide we moving to non-residential courses which are cheaper for employing authorities. As part of these changes NALEO is now an approved Learning Centre for the Highfield Awarding Body and we are currently "rebranding" and reaccrediting our existing courses as they fall due. The first of our brand new courses is a Level 3 qualification on the Gambling Act 2005 and related legislation.
